TEACHING
Besides his performing career, Niklas Walentin actively makes time to share his experience and knowledge in music with the flourishing new generations. From striving talents to young professionals, Niklas Walentin is equally keen on helping wether if it is with the detailed technical aspects of violin playing or the limitless philosophical thoughts on the language of music and what is behind it.
Niklas Walentin is frequently appearing as a guest teacher when on tour, and has given masterclasses at Shenyang State Music Academy in China, Kyoto in Japan and some of Europe's great masterclasses and summer courses, such as Marktoberdorf International in Germany, Feldkircher Streichertage in Austria and Luci della Ribalta in Italy.

Niklas Walentin is also a part of Bochabela Strings program in South Africa, where he together with Prof. Klaus Christa of Voralberg State Conservatoire has founded Bochabela Chamber Project.

He has been teaching alongside some of the continent's finest professors like Prof. Patrick Jüdt, Prof. Genevieve Strosser, Prof. Hatto Beyerle, Prof. Barbara Doll and Prof. Leonid Gorokhov.

For a number of years he also has regularly assisted his mentor Prof. Hatto Beyerle, until his passing in 2023.
