Niklas Walentin has since he was ten years old, studied with his mentor, the Danish violinist and composer Søren Elbæk, and remained under his guidance until his passing in 2019. 

Next to, he has studied and participated in master classes with Hilary Hahn, Zhakar Brohn, Boris Kushnir, Prof. Sylvie Gazeau, Anker Buch, Odin Rathnam and Gerhard Schultz. He was at the age of 14 admitted to Royal Danish Academy of Music where he was graduating Bachelor in 2012, after studies with Elisabeth Zeuthen Schneider and Prof. Eszter Haffner.

 

In 2012 he was admitted to Master Degree of Performing Arts at The Royal Danish Academy of Music.

In 2014, he began studies as Master Degree of Performing Arts with Professor Sergej Krylov, Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano which he finished in 2015.

In 2015, Niklas Walentin was admitted to studying Advanced Diploma as Soloist on The Royal Danish Academy of Music with Professor Eszter Haffner.

 

In 2016 also admitted to study Advanced Diploma as Chamber musician at The Royal Danish Academy of Music with his Piano trio, Trio Vitruvi, in Professor Tim Fredriksen's class. 

In spring 2017, Niklas Walentin finished his Master Degree of Performing Arts from The Royal Danish Academy of Music, and in the autumn 2017, he held his final exam and performed his Debut Concert at The Royal Danish Academy of Music from the class of Prof. Eszter Haffner, transmitted by the National Danish Radio.

In 2018, he had his Debut Concert together with his ensemble Trio Vitrui at The Royal Danish Academy of Music, from the chamber music class of Prof. Tim Frederiksen.

Since 2018, he has been working closely and studying musical philosophy with Prof. Hatto Beyerle of the Alban Berg Quartet.
