NEW JAZZ ALBUM

Niklas Walentin's debut album with Jazz, "Another June Night", is being released with Orchid Classics in June 2025.

Recorded together with The Snorre Kirk Trio it contains virtuoso material by famous jazz violinist Svend Asmussen.

HOT OFF THE PRESS! My 9th album and debut with jazz, featuring three incredible musicians: Snorre Kirk, Anders Fjeldsted and Calle Brickman. Celebrating one of the greatest names and jazz, violinist Svend Asmussen, his original material is basis for this record, flanked by my own jazz arrangement of Tango Jalousie, created together with my three friends.

The album is available on all streaming platforms and a limited number of signed vinyls are ready - DM for order!

Nominated by The German Record Critics for the Record of 2025, Autumn/Winter edition.
A great honour to be considered by such an esteemed jury at Der Deutschen Shallplattenkritik to receive the award for our recording as Trio Vitruvi and friends, featuring fantastic colleagues and friends Hartmut Rohde and Nabil Shehata, playing masterpieces by Brahms and Schubert. Out of so many great recordings made by longtime established artists, it is quite the privileged that our take on the 3rd piano quartet by Brahms and the Piano Quintet “Trout” by Schubert deserves this attention. Thank you!  The recording is available on CD at Orchid Classics website and on streaming platforms. See link in description.

A small teaser for our new album!
“Jalousie” it the title of a new album, celebrating Jacob Gade and the 100th anniversary of the immortal Tango Jalousie. Featuring his major work for solo violin and orchestra, the album also hosts pieces never recorded before and a version of Tango Jalousie in its original salon orchestra version. Released with Decurio and available later spring 2025.
